Orange County is home base, which changes the practical calculus in ways that matter to a planner. There is no freight leg. The equipment does not travel overnight before your event. If something needs a second look the week of, somebody can physically go and look at it. On short-notice bookings this is usually the difference between yes and no.
The venue mix here
Private homes and backyards for birthdays, graduation parties and family celebrations. The most common OC booking by volume, and the one where placement matters most — the counter needs a spot where a queue can form without cutting through the food or the pool deck.
Country clubs and event centres for weddings, mitzvahs and milestone birthdays. Predictable power, predictable load-in, and staff who have seen vendors before.
Hotel ballrooms along the coast and inland for corporate parties and holiday events. Standard freight access and a banquet manager who will tell you exactly what is allowed, which we appreciate.
Corporate campuses in Irvine, Costa Mesa and the tech corridor for employee appreciation days, family days and product launches. Often indoor lobby or courtyard footprints with straightforward power.
What being local actually buys you
Travel is $0. Staffing is $250 an hour with setup and teardown inside the clock, and locally that clock is genuinely tight because there is no long haul padding it. Site visits are realistic for larger builds. And on the day, if your event runs longer than planned and you want the counter open another hour, that is an easier conversation with a crew twenty minutes from the shop than one that flew in.
The one thing being local does not shortcut is blank sourcing. If we are ordering jerseys in a full size curve, that has its own lead time regardless of geography. Clients who already own their garments have far more flexibility on dates — worth knowing if your party is close.
Backyard events, specifically
Residential parties are our most frequent OC job and they have their own checklist. Accessible power near the counter, a level surface for the press bench, and enough footprint that the queue is not backed up through the patio gate. Adult XS through 3XL covers a family crowd, and we plan the size curve towards whoever is actually coming rather than a generic spread. A capped size that runs out disappears from the tablet picker, so nobody gets to the front and finds their size gone.
Same bar, same rules
Guests choose a blank, type a name of about nine characters and a number of one to three digits at a tablet, the entry becomes a ticket dispatched to the least-loaded press lane, and full-colour DTF transfers go on with a heat press. Two to four lanes covers nearly every OC party. Hat bars, patch application, live embroidery, laser engraving and UV DTF stickers are all available from the same crew if you want a second station.

Faster than anywhere else we work, because it is home base and there is no freight involved. The real constraint is blank sourcing rather than crew availability — if you are supplying your own jerseys, short notice is much more workable.
Do you work backyard and residential parties?
Regularly. The two questions are whether there is accessible power near where the counter will sit and whether the footprint fits with room for a queue that does not run through the food.
