What is a jersey bar?
A staffed station where guests choose a blank jersey, enter a name and number at a tablet, and have it pressed on while they wait. It is named the way a hat bar is named — the bar is the format, not a drinks service.
Do you serve drinks at a jersey bar?
No. Live Jersey Bar is a printing experience run by Merch Troop. No alcohol is served and no bar licence is involved. If your venue has a drinks bar, ours sits somewhere else in the room entirely.
Can we use jerseys we already own?
Yes. Client-supplied garments are supported and common — teams, clubs and sponsors often own the kit already and only need the name and number applied. It also removes the largest cost line from a quote.
What is the maximum name length?
About nine characters, with numbers running one to three digits. Longer names force the letter-spacing to compress until the name no longer reads from across a room.
How far will you travel?
Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego and Las Vegas regularly, and nationwide with enough lead time. Travel is $0 inside OC, LA and SD and $900 outside that radius.

Indoors or outdoors?
Both, routinely. Outdoors we need shade or cover for the crew and the presses and confirmed power near the footprint. Our largest jersey build was an outdoor kit studio on an open plaza in full sun, so it is very much doable — it just needs planning rather than optimism.
What kind of jerseys work?
Most modern jerseys are cut from slick, textured or mesh polyester, which is exactly what full-colour DTF transfers and a heat press are good at. Blank stock from Augusta Sportswear and Badger covers most party requirements. Twill, tackle-twill and embroidery are available where somebody wants a heritage look and has the schedule for it.
Can we do more than jerseys at the same event?
Yes. The same crew runs hat bars and patch application, live embroidery, laser engraving, UV DTF stickers and screen printing. On a long event a second station gives guests a reason to come back once their jersey is done.
How much lead time do you need?
More than you would guess if we are sourcing blanks, less than you would guess if you are supplying them. Sizing, colour and art all have to land before stock is ordered. Call early and we will tell you honestly whether your date is workable.
